Phone Call from Insurance Specialist within 48 hours to…
- Explain your benefits coverage
After viewing the seminar and submitting your telephone number and insurance information on the short form at the end of the seminar, you will be contacted within 48 hours by an insurance specialist. The specialist will explain your bariatric coverage to you. If you do not have bariatric coverage, discounted, self-pay pricing and financing options will be offered to you as an option to consider.
- Set up new patient appointment
The first appointment will take 60 minutes. During the appointment you’ll learn about our program steps, including what your insurance may requires. A medical history is taken, physical exam performed, and your surgical options will be discussed in depth.

Kindly bring the new patient packet completed when you come to your appointment. If you do not have your packet completed, you must plan to arrive 30 minutes early to fill it out. If you don’t arrive early enough, we’ll have to reschedule your appointment to another day.
- You will first meet with our Physician Assistant, who will take a full medical history, perform a physical exam, and discuss in depth your surgical options with you.
- If you are a candidate for surgery and wish to proceed to the next step, you will meet with TaKesha, our Patient Advocate. TaKesha is also a weight loss patient from our Center. She knows firsthand what a weight loss journey entails. You can view her video story by clicking on Success Stories. Her role is to work closely with you, holding your hand as she navigates your way through the program steps and the insurance requirements. Simply stated, she is your go to person and main contact at the Center. She will review your customized checklist with you which will have any insurance company requirements. She will also explain the program, its steps and set up any appointments. A projected surgery month will be discussed with you.
