Dr. Nancy Lipsitz joined Heritage in 2007 bringing with her nine years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in the Nashville area. Dr. Lipsitz graduated magna cum laude with honors from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. While there, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed her internship and residency in the field of obstetrics and gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She was received her residency's award each of her four years for earning top grades in the annual CREOG examination. Dr. Lipsitz is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of both the Nashville Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lipsitz serves as Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
