Dr. Saitta’s clinical interests include staging and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers, pancreaticobiliary disorders including diagnosis and palliation of bile duct and pancreatic malignancies utilizing novel technologies such as cholangioscopy and pancreatoscopy, management of acute and chronic pancreatitis, management of choledocholithiasis, Barrett’s esophagus, small bowel disorders including management of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, GERD and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He has expertise in performing EGD, Colonoscopy, Video Capsule Endoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound(EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography(ERCP), ERCP for altered post surgical anatomy, Radiofrequency
Ablation and Cryotherapy for management of dysplastic Barrett’s Esophagus, Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR), Confocal Endomicroscopy for microscopic assessment of premalignant and malignant gastrointestinal conditions, Double Balloon Enteroscopy, and Endoluminal stenting.
