Dr. Wilson graduated cum laude from Princeton University in Biochemical Sciences. He completed medical and neurology training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was an Assistant Professor of Neurology. His research interest was in experimental neuropathology and excitatory neurotransmitters. Dr. Wilson is Board Certified in Neurology.
Dr. Wilson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the brain and nervous system such as Parkinson's Disease. Dr. Wilson is the founding Medical Director of the American Parkinson's Disease Association Information and Referral Center of Middle Tennessee. He provides specialized treatment for movement disorders including chemodennervation.
