Lydia A. White, M.D. is a fellowship-trained physician specializing in Sports Medicine. A native Middle Tennessean, Dr. White is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She completed her Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati, and went on to complete her fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She has served as the team physician for several high school and college sports programs, and treats athletes of all ages at TOA's Murfreesboro and Manchester locations.
Dr. White is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and she has attained the honor of the Janet M. Glasgow Achievement Citation for Women in Medicine. She has been invited to present her own research at several national conferences and has been published in many medical peer journals as well. She is actively involved in research investigating youth athletes and year-round sports.
